See also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paullynch.org\/eqblog\/?p=265\">Hot Zone Augments<\/a>.  Starting first with the easy augments from hot zones, then giving a basic list of other &#8220;easy&#8221; augments: RSS\/etc.  Not included: DoN augs, LDoN augs, Anguish augs, Crystallos augs.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Looking at the hot zone augments, the most desirable ones are slot 7\/8, which I have highlighted below.  Then I have picked out the high AC augs, and others which are high hp or mana.  Anyone is going to follow one of three paths: AC, hp, or mana\/endurance; a few also add reasonably to resists.<\/p>\n<p>Note that any character has 17\/18 slots to fill with type 7\/8 augments! (plus weapon slot).<\/p>\n<p><strong>AC augs (10+):<\/strong><br \/>\nPoI (10), Nadox (10), Acrylia Caverns (10), Cazic-Thule (10), Nobles Causeway (10), Crypt of Decay (15), Halls of Honor* (10), Sunderock Springs* (18), Dreadspire Keep* (10), Grieg&#8217;s End (2nd 14), Thalassius (22)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resists:<\/strong><br \/>\nBlackfeather Roost (5), Wall of Slaughter* (5), Bastion of Thunder* (5)<\/p>\n<p><strong>HP:<\/strong><br \/>\nNadox (30), AC (40), NC (50), CT (45), Plane of Storms (45), HoH* (30), Paw (50), BoT* (50), WoS* (40), Stoneroot* (50), KT (75), TBS (85), RoI* (65), RSS* (65), Valdeholm* (65), Dreadspire Keep* (80)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mana:<\/strong><br \/>\nGE (1st 40), DN (50), Plane of Storms (45), Riwwi (45), Droga (45), HoH* (50), Paw (50), WoS* (40), Stoneroot* (50), RoI* (65), RSS* (65), Valdeholm* (75), Dreadspire Keep* (80)<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, HP+mana = Plane of Storms, RoI*, HoH*, WoS*, Paw, RSS*<br \/>\n* = 7\/8 augs<\/p>\n<p>Summing up, the good augs for everyone are:  Storms, HoH, WoS, BoT, Sunderock, RSS, RoI, Valdeholm, Dreadspire Keep; for AC biased classes, see the list above. Depending on your group strategy, the best are either heal over time (heals for more than the direct heal proc), or DD (Wulfenite).  They are all type 4 augs.<\/p>\n<p>Some classes have spell buff that act as procs; only one buff proc can be up at a time.  These classes (ranger, paladin, SK) therefore can&#8217;t really use any proc buff clickies.  The most obvious of these is Symbol of the Planesmasters, which has a 77 DD proc with 1 second stun &#8211; drops from Saryrn in Time.<\/p>\n<p>For tanking, the best procs are considered to be Rune, followed by Life Sap.  Fiery Strike and Chaotic Strike can also be decent.
