New World for EPOC

Symbian have released a new version of the C++ SDK for EPOC on their EPOC World web site (http://developer.epocworld.com). This is free for EPOC World members, but an evaluation version is available for free download. The evaluation version produces binaries that can only run on the EPOC Emulator, which runs on desktop PCs. In recent months there has been a dispute between Symbian and the developers of the EPOC Emulator, although as the Emulator is also now available as a free download for non-members of EPOC World, it would appear that the dispute has been settled.

Symbian are now promising a Java SDK for EPOC late this year.
